A World of Convenience

We now live in a world where we can pay for convenience. Like I’ll order a pizza instead of cooking dinner.

Our smart phones have become very convenient. So convenient that many people put their whole lives on their smart phones. It is all stored in the phone and in the cloud, so things are all good right ?

You might have thought so, but a few people are finding out how vulnerable their entire life and financial assets are when all stored on an iphone.

Stolen Passcode

A woman is sitting in a bar, with her iphone on the bar. She gets distracted for a minute, and then finds her iphone has been stolen.

Someone has been watching her, and they know her iphone passcode. Within minutes they have changed the passcode on her phone, and her life has been high jacked.

This is just the beginning of what the thieves are able to steal. They are smart too.

This story was published by the Wall Street Journal. I could tell you the whole story, but would suggest that you watch the nine minute video from the article link below.

They talk about how to improve the situation at the end of the video.

I suggest this is a must watch for any who is a heavy smart phone user.
